For over a decade, Courtney Lee has been deeply immersed in the world of heavy music. Building her career at esteemed hardcore label Resist Records, she has worked with powerhouse Australian acts including the likes of Parkway Drive and Polaris.


Prior to founding Waiting Room PR, Courtney Lee spent 5 years as artist manager. Artists on her roster won triple j Artist Of The Year award, FBI Radio Song Of The Year award, FBI Radio Next Big Thing award and were the most played artist of the year on triple j Unearthed radio.

Her artists have premiered tracks with Zane Lowe of Apple Music 1 and have shared the stage with Skepta, A$AP Ferg and Migos. Most notably, Courtney Lee oversaw a landmark deal with Def Jam Recordings.

Currently, Courtney Lee contributes as a Publicity Coordinator at Dallas Does PR (Fearless Records, Sharptone Records & Rise Records). In addition, she currently works across live music events including Good Things Festival, Knotfest Australia and New Bloom Festival.

Outside of music, Courtney Lee has contributed to VFX production at Industrial Light & Magic (Lucasfilm) across multiple feature film projects. She holds credits on Ridley Scott’s Alien: Romulus and Gareth Edward’s The Creator. Both films were nominated for Academy Awards for Best Visual Effects.
